FAQ
Your questions, answered with care and clarity.
Choosing private postnatal care is a new step for many families. These questions often come up before our first conversation and each answer is here to help you feel reassured, informed, and confident in your choice
When does your care start? Before or after birth?
Your care can begin whenever you need it. Some families like to connect before birth to plan for those first few weeks at home. Others reach out once the baby has arrived. Either way, I meet you exactly where you are and build your support around your family’s rhythm and recovery pace.
What if I’ve already had my baby? Is it too late?
Never. Many families contact me a few days or even weeks after birth, once they realise how much difference calm, consistent support can make. Packages can be adjusted for your current stage, so you still receive the reassurance and guidance you need.
Is this care instead of NHS postnatal visits?
It’s an addition not a replacement. NHS care is valuable, but time-limited. I offer continuity, flexibility, and presence beyond those visits longer conversations, emotional space, and practical help that unfolds at your pace. Families often tell me it’s the blend of both that helps them feel most supported.
What if I only need help with feeding or confidence at home?
That’s completely fine. I can tailor shorter or focused packages just for feeding support, sleep confidence, or emotional wellbeing. Sometimes a few unhurried visits make all the difference and you can always extend your care if you wish.
Do you work with both parents or just mums?
Both. Parenthood is a shared journey, and I make sure partners feel included, informed, and supported. Whether it’s building feeding confidence, soothing skills, or simply understanding what to expect, both parents will feel seen and guided.
How do payments and bookings work?
After our Connection Call, we’ll decide together which package fits you best. A simple agreement and deposit secure your place in my diary. I only take 2–3 families per month to ensure every family receives unhurried, one-to-one support.
